Jackson |
|
A police officer in the same precinct as Sam and Twitch. When Al Simmons returned from the dead (after Spawn was sent back to Earth by Cain), he was wandering the streets in a daze. A couple of cops named Jackson and Briggs asked that he move out of the street, but he lashed out and attacked the officers. They restrained him, but he put up a fight and dislocated Briggs's shoulder. |

Jackson Everett Blake |
|
Alias: Jonathan Blake, Jack Blake, Gentleman Jack
The late husband of Mary "Granny" Blake, and Wanda Blake's Grandfather. Jackson "Jack" Blake met Mary when she worked in a diner during the war. Jack began courting Mary, who called him Gentleman Jack because he was so tremendously polite.
Jack was a pilot who felt he was fighting to make a better life for everyone. The night before his squadron left, he and Mary attended a dance together and became engaged. Separated by war, Jack wrote to Mary often, and she treasured his letters dearly. When he finally returned a hero, they were married.
Jack worked his way through law school, after which they moved to New York where Jack became a lawyer fighting the mob and government corruption. One night when Jack went out to bring up the car, he was killed by a car-bomb and Mary was blinded.
His government pension, however was a blessing for Mary and supported her the rest of her life.
Many years later, after listening to the story of Jack, Spawn took Mary to a place called the Dead Zone where he used his resources to allow her to meet with Jack one last time. Jack told her to go on living her life, and that he would always be watching and waiting for her. |
