Like Any Other man (Turnbold arc part 1 of 3)
Covenant, since being freed from Rhyll by young Alek and shunned
by Cogliostro, has taken to wandering once again. In his travels, he meets a
scarred farmer and listens to the story behind the scars. It seems a cruel man
by the name of Brakert overtook the nearby city of Turnbold and turned it into
a den of thieves and rapists. He enslaved many of the city's women and the local
farmers must toil at providing the city with their crops. Eager for adventure,
Covenant decides to enter Turnbold and pay Brakert a visit.
Meanwhile, as if being hunted by an unseen evil in the woods
wasn't bad enough for the town of Rhyll, they are invaded by conquering vikings
and the town is all but destroyed. |
