Just outside of the police precinct, a group of bodies is found strung up and hanging upside down. In a state of panic and embarassment, the police scramble to find answers and put Sam and Twitch on the case.
Max Williams, still hanging out with the girl named Dawn, is groomed for entrance into her cult. Meanwhile, Spawn recruits Ab and Zab to find information about the growing darkness he feels in the city but can't explain.
