I might be missing an issue of something, I got from Chapel having a nightmare about Spawn and saying he needs to talk to Jason Wyn, then in another series Chapel shows up with new armor and kills Bobby.
My LORD this shit is confusing the fuck out of me.
Where does Chapel get the new gear?

He's primarilly a character in the Youngblood series by Image. In Image's early years they tried to do what Marvel and DC were doing with strong in universe crossovers. Chapel is the creation of Rob Liefeld. Because of creative disputes, Chapel was written out of the Spawn storyline. MacFarlane kinda fixed the plot hole by rewritting Spawn's history. He retconned Chapel and made Jessica Priest Al Simmons' killer. Although it's pretty well accepted that they BOTH killed Al. But I digress. He has different armor cuz at the end of Youngblood #7 he gears up to find out how Al came back from the dead. He kills Bobby to get Al's attention and Al tells him that he made a deal with Malbolgia. Chapel then kills himself so he can attain the same kind of power that Al has. He doesnt make a deal. But instead he becomes a Lord of Hell. It's all in Youngblood and Extreme Sacrifice.
