Question

We see in the earlier issues that there is an old lady which many are speculating is god. I do not think that this is a form of "mother" since the old lady is surrounded by angels which are gods creation and act as though the old lady is in fact "god".

Now later on we find out that god and satan have been exiled by mother and are now kids. At this point Zera (the seraphim) tells god that he has been away for centuries.

How is this possible? The span of time between the old lady and god as Jake Fitzgerald is not anywhere close to the time that god was exiled.

It is still very unclear who or what the old lady character is. It did seem to be implied that she was god up until the Mother storyline. Our only real clue is that even though the old lady was never named in the comics, in other materials she has been referred to as "Mary". There were several biblical Marys, so perhaps she is one of those?
