I am from the UK and have been collecting spawn for three years now, I had no prior adult hood interest in comics till three years ago, now I'm hooked. My friend said I should start reading comics I looked into what would appeal to me and spawn came out on tops and I could also collect from issue #1 which was a bonus, since then I have been an avid collector of spawn. I have every thing from spawn vol 1(some variants, not all damn you 189b) and have a standing order at the fairly local comic book shop. I also collect a few other comics.

Look forward to reading the posts and getting to know people and helping out where I can.

I'm brand new to spawn and i want to thank you for making this site. I am female and not to many of my friends like comics. My big question is if I just read the main series of spawn 1-220, would i be able to follow the story or would I get lost. I know there are a bunch of spin-offs and crossovers but as it stands right now I can't afford to collect everything, so I was going to start with the hardcovers. Thanks.
