So I just discovered this article that went over several announcements McFarlane made in regards to the Spawniverse. (Just for the record, issue #283 is the most recent issue.)

1) Spawn will finally reach its long-awaited landmark issue: #301! Making it the longest running independently owned comic series in the world, dethroning Cerebus who currently holds that title. Things in store for us as we approach #301 are a new Violator and Overt-kill returning.

2) Medieval Spawn will be receiving a new 4 issue crossover with Witchblade again.

3) The one-shot parody "Spawn Kills Everyone!" was so successful that a sequel is in the works.

4) An 8 issue miniseries called "Sam & Twitch: True Detectives" is already complete and will be released around the same time as the new Spawn Reboot Movie trailer. Artwork looks to be that of Szymon Kudranski.

5) Aaaaaand I've saved the best for last: Beware, Spoilers for recent issues in the main Spawn series are ahead. If you've kept up then you know that in the Dark Horror arc Cyan Fitzgerald has supernatural powers now similar to Spawn, and its hinted that she may be more powerful than him altogether. This is very exciting since she has had a special connection to Al Simmons for such a long time and has displayed powers in the past. She will be receiving her own ongoing series called "Misery" that will be a global adventure that explores her new powers as she tries to save innocent people from evil forces/human evil. If anyone in the Spawn universe deserves a spinoff it's Cyan and I'm so ready for it!

Great to hear some new spinoffs and releases will be coming out, I always enjoy the side stuff. Really loved Spawn The Undead and Dark Ages.
