- This is the direct market edition (there was also a newsstand edition).
- There was a variety of stickers applied to versions of this book, but it should be noted that they are applied to a direct edition, not a newsstand edition.
- This version has a large white barcode sticker applied to the back cover. The barcode has the distributor code 92298, and the text is about 3mm tall (see image to left).
- This is the Image edition of the crossover, there is also a book that was produced by DC.


- Spawn / Batman Someone is kidnapping homeless men in NY and turning them into cyborgs. This draws the attention of Spawn who wants to find out who is kidnapping his friends. When one of the cyborgs makes its way to Gotham City, Batman begins an investigation which leads him straight to Spawn.
