Tree of Life
According to Mother, mankind has but to eat from the Tree of Life to become a god.

She instructed Al Simmons that, to defeat God and Satan, he must enter Eden and eat from the tree himself. Spawn tried to reach the tree but was slain by the Disciple Judas in Eden.

After his death, Mother squeezed juice from the fruit of the Tree of Life into Spawn's mouth, and he was reborn a god.

Tremor

Alias: Patient 29

Tremor is a former employee of the mob boss Antonio Twistelli who "volunteered" for the mob's efforts to make the ultimate hitman. Tremor (whose real name is Richard Masullo) only agreed to the program after the mob threatened the lives of his family members.

At some point Masullo was handed over to Director Kramer and in turn handed over to Carlos Nortego for experimental genetic testing. Unfortunately, the experiment went horribly wrong and Richard was transformed into a huge, bio-mechanical monster. To cover their involvement, the mob killed Richard's family anyway, including his beloved Anna-Marie.

Destroyed both emotionally and physically, Tremor began living in the alleyways plotting his revenge on those who had harmed him. After Spawn's presence in the alleys drew the personal attention of Twistelli, Tremor took notice as well and orchestrated a meeting with Spawn himself.

After listening to Tremor's tale, Spawn gave him a top secret file on Twistelli's activities out of pity. Tremor left, not sure if Spawn was a friend or foe, but thankful for the file he received.

Later, Tremor returned to Spawn to get his help storming Twistelli's offices. Tremor had discovered Twistelli had been gathering information on Terry Fitzgerald and his family, and he knew that this info would convince Spawn to help.

When they attacked Twistelli's office, however, their shaky partnership collapsed. Tremor discovered that his brother David was working for Twistelli, and he was barely able to save him from Spawn's wrath. Amidst the fight, Tremor quickly scrambled away to find medical care for his brother David.

Years later, Richard Masullo (in human form) watched intently as Jim Downing began to receive media attention on TV. He set off to New York from the midwest, presumably to find the new hellspawn.

When he finally arrived in NY, he encountered the new hellspawn in the same alleys in which he had encountered Al Simmons. Now apparently able to transform between Richard and Tremor at will, Richard asked Downing for help in "curing him" of his condition. Reluctantly, Downing complied and seemingly removed the Tremor persona from Masullo permanently.

Together, the two discovered they were both patients of the mysterious Project Ragnarok. They set off to find clues to their pasts, but little did Downing know that Masullo was secretly fulfilling a deal to deliver Downing to Jason Wynn. After the betrayal, Downing told Masullo he never wanted to see him again and the two parted ways.

Tunnel, The

After Wanda was killed, Al Simmons began interrogating people for clues as to who was involved in her death and where she was. He soon discovered that demons had cased her death and her soul had been taken to Satan in a deep part of Hell called The Tunnel.

Al learned that he could only access The Tunnel with the help of two keys, one from an angel, and one from a demon. Al enlisted Mike the Messenger and The Violator to help him, and the three set off into Hell.

Once inside the Tunnel, Simmons annihilated nearly 3500 demons single-handedly before finally reaching Satan.

After the confrontation with Satan, Al returned to Earth, but upon exiting The Tunnel he sealed the doorway with his sword.
