Seth

The abusive father of a little girl named Mary. Mary and her mom were often abused by Seth, and when Mary's mom tried to protect her it only made things worse.

When Mary accidentally moved the TV antennae while Seth was watching something, he locked her in her room for 3 days while awaiting her punishment. During this time, Mary saw ghosts of Seth's other children. They may have been killed by him in the past or she may have been hallucinating.

Regardless, Spawn took notice of little Mary and came calling for Seth. He impaled the man on the same TV antennae that Seth had been so upset about earlier as justice for his years of abuse.

Severin
Born in Macedonia at the start of Roman Empire, Severin was taken by a sickness that transformed him into a vrykolakas - creatures that evolved into the first vampires.

When he first transformed, Severin drank the blood of his beautiful wife Adelphia. He always remembered this first kill as the sweetest blood he had ever tasted. He and others ravaged Rome for a time, running in packs and slaughtering many, until Lucian and Daciana, the leaders of the vrykolakas, withdrew their kind from the eyes of man.

Over time, Severin grew weary of life (or whatever it was he was experiencing) and began to long for death. He wanted no part in Lucian and Daciana's plans with Mammon for world domination, instead he only wanted to find death.

After the White Light, Morana came to Severin with a deal from Mammon: if Severin would bite Spawn and pass on his affliction, Mammon would grant Severin his death.

Severin followed through with his part of the bargain, but Mammon's deal had a catch - Severin was granted death, but his personal Hell was to be reborn again.

Shanti Surendra
Amal and his wife Shanti are a Hindu couple whose souls were among the 6000 trapped within Spawn. In their minds, they had been trapped in the Pretas, or the realm of hungry ghosts.

There, their thirst and hunger could not be satisfied, and they were unable to move on until they abandoned their adherence to worldly things. Unfortunately, they were unable to part with their last possession from their lives on Earth as it was terribly dear to them.

When Kali began ravaging India during the events of Armageddon, Christopher led them out of Spawn so that they could help defeat her. During the confrontation, it was Amal who interrupted Spawn and Kali to point out that Armageddon must be stopped in order to protect the cycle of life and death. He then offered his and Shanti's most precious thing, their unborn child who 'died' with them.

Kali received the child as a mother, and recognized their sacrifice by giving the child death so that it could be reborn. Relieved, Amal and Shanti returned to the body of Spawn until they (and the other 6000 souls) were released when he was killed by Judas. They disappeared to an unknown future, which Mother assured Al was only their beginning.

Shihong
In Japan at the end of the Southern Sung Dynasty, there was a ruthless governor of Shansi province named Zheng Li. Zheng Li feared attack by neighboring Mongols and surrounded himself with the greatest warriors he could find. To pay for such warriors, it was necessary to tax his peasants exorbitantly.

When one of his villages could not pay, they sent a curiosity instead to amuse the governor. The curiosity was a severely deformed 22 year-old man named Chenglei. He could not speak, and was covered in large bulbous growths from head to toe. Chenglei also appeared to be immune to pain - and it was this ability that provided amusement for the governor and his wife, Shihong.

Shihong seemed to take extra joy in tormenting the poor man and her cruelty seemed to know no bounds. After Chenglei's death, however, he returned as a hellspawn and wrought revenge upon all those who had injured him in life.

Shihong could not expect what was coming when she was quickly and bloodlessly decapitated sitting at dinner one night by Chenglei.
