Spawn brought with him an angel by the name of Gideon (with one of his wings ripped off) and threatened Trump before disappearing and taking the cameramen with him.

Out in the street, Spawn told the cameramen to be sure to get the footage of him attacking the president on the air, and that everyone will try to stop them.

A streetwise drug dealer who was questioned by Sam and Twitch through violent means. They were on the hunt for the mystery red-caped man they had seen twice but never met (Spawn).

Using information Jimmy provided, Sam and Twitch were able to narrow Spawn's territory to a 4 block radius and found him for the first time.

The business partner of a man linked to the angels and demons on Earth that Spawn had been hunting.

O'Connor was mentioned by his partner during a confessional, but the priest turned out to be the Curse, who then killed the man giving confession and set out to find O'Connor.

When Sam and Twitch arrived at the police station on the day they were to be fired, it was a cop named Joe who denied them parking (under orders).

Joe Frank
A respected cop, church-going father, and widower. Joe was also a child abuser who often beat his two boys ruthlessly. Spawn intervened and tattooed Joe's body with "I beat my kids", but that only made things worse. When Joe was taking out his rage on his youngest son Andy, his eldest son Eddie shot and killed him with his own gun.

A loyal mob accountant who handled the books for Antonio Twistelli. When Sacik was questioned by Spawn as to the whereabouts of Twist, he inadvertently revealed to Spawn plans for the reconstruction of Overtkill, and his mission to kill Terry Fitzgerald. Three days later, Sacik was found dismembered under a bridge.

Joey's girlfriend Celia was a resident of the ill-fated New Vista Apartments. Soon after the White Light the residents of the apartment complex began committing strange acts of violence against themselves and others.

Celia had a habit of nibbling and picking at her fingers, and after the White Light she couldn't stop herself. On the day Joey had finally convinced himself to propose to her, he walked in to her apartment to find that she had peeled off most of the skin and tissue on her arms, chest and face.

Later, he committed suicide, presumably in the hope that it would spare his family further pain and suffering upon Malebolgia's return. Alas, John unknowingly passed the essence onto his daughter Jennie who his wife Marcie had to watch be murdered by Malebolgia.

A murderer who, for some reason, decided to torment Sam Burke by sending him videotapes of himself murdering people. When the FBI arrived to investigate, it became clear John Doe had a history of targeting lonely cops such as Sam.

Alias: The John Doe Foundation

A portion of The Jim Downing Foundation dedicated to facilitating the use of Jim's powers to help those in dire need of alternative medicine. When ground was broken for the headquarters, many protested, believing that Downing was either a fraud or the antichrist.

Amid the protests, the headquarters was constructed in New York on the site of the Dead Zone. Bludd did this intentionally to protect and conceal the newly discovered Dead Zone.

After Jim's final confrontation with his symbiote that left him in a coma once again, construction on the headquarters was halted, and the future of the foundation was in question despite Ramus's promise to carry on.

John Edward Mawbley

A methodical and calculating serial killer. John believed he was doing the Lord's work by murdering people and then removing their eyes, the "windows to their souls". All the while, he would ritually journal every aspect of his murders for the sake of posterity.

When he shot at a woman named Gretchen Culver who had come to meet with him about his writings, he unknowingly started a chain of events that led to the birth of Suture. Later, Suture returned to John and repaid his deeds.
